SINGAPORE: Kenya's Kenneth Mungara won this year's Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore (Men's Open) with a time of 2h 16min and 42secs,
This is his second marathon victory in Singapore - his first was in 2010.
Mungara said after the race: 'I'm very happy. The weather today was very good.'
'I will celebrate when I go back home, with my family,' he added.
In the Women's category, Amare Wagnesh of Ethiopia grabbed first place with a time of 2h 46min and 54secs.
Meanwhile, Singapore's SEA Games gold medallist Mok Ying Ren took the Singapore category with a time of 2h 53min and 43secs.
