BUSAN - The new RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network HD is to be broadcast to IPTV customers in Singapore following a deal with the country's SingTel.
Singapore will be the third territory for the pay-TV channel, following its debut last month in Malaysia and Thailand.
SingTel's mio TV platform will offer it at no additional charge as part of its Family+ package. The channel features reality shows such as 'The X Factor USA' and 'America's Got Talent;' entertainment news from 'Entertainment Tonight,' and top rated US series such as 'Elementary' and the upcoming ' Under the Dome ' (pictured.)
Formed in July 2007, mio TV has signed up over 400,000 customers and offers over 100 channels.
A joint venture formed in August 2013 involving Europe's RTL Group, and the U.S.'s CBS Studios International, RTL CBS Asia Entertainment aims to have it channels operate in 20 Asian markets.
