Xiaomi Mi3 now available in Singapore for S$419 (US$332)

The Xiaomi Mi3 is now available in Singapore where users can buy it for as little as 419 SGD (about US$332 or 240 EUR). That's the price of an unlocked 3G-enabled model with 16GB of internal storage. Rest of the specs include a 5-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip clocked at 2.3GHz. We've reviewed this particular unit and we love it.

Previously, the Chinese firm has launched its more affordable Hongmi/Redmi phone in the country/city, and has seen it selling out in a record amount of time. Something tells us the Mi3 will be equally successful.

However, what we really want to know is - when will Xiaomi phones officially come to the West. At the moment, you can buy unlocked units from importers like Xiaomi World, but no carrier in Europe or North America is still offering Xiaomi's gear with a contract. Hopefully, something like that will happen by the end of the year...
