Victoria Beckham creates #FightTheFrizz hashtag dedicated to Singapore's heat

Celebrity fashion designers Victoria Beckham presented her latest fashion collection at a private event held at ...

What's the first thing that comes to Victoria Beckham's mind when packing for Singapore? The heat, says the 40-year-old celebrity fashion designer and former Spice Girl on Monday at a media showcase for her fashion accessories (bags, sunglasses) collection at Marina Bay Sands, where she complained about how it's too hot in Singapore. The wife of football star David Beckham also launched a hashtag called #FightTheFrizz due to the fizzy hair the heat is causing. During the meet, the gorgeous mother of four even asked journalists at the showcase for beauty tips on travelling in humid weather. Many of them advised her to use Moroccan oil - a recently popular hair product - to keep the fizz down. Even a British diva needs help sometimes it seems. Children not modelsBeckham, who is in town to promote her collection for Asia's designer brand retailer, On Pedder, also introduced exclusive pieces in soft pink that are only made available in the region. This is the first time that the designer is having a fashion showcase in Southeast Asia. The petite fashionista, whose husband currently has an underwear and socks line for Swedish retailer H&M, revealed that the footballer does not go to her for tips, saying that 'David has a natural flair for fashion'.The working mother, whose 11-year-old son Romeo Beckham modelled for high fashion brand Burberry last year, also said her children would 'definitely' not model for her fashion line and that children's wear are 'not on the cards' at the moment. She added that she does 'not have time' to expand, not even to include shoes in her main fashion brand. When asked about any big fashion no-nos she would not commit, the surprisingly chatty Beckham confessed that she would never wear a crop top. Beckham, who has dressed stars including celebrity talk show host Oprah Winfrey, also revealed that she wishes to design for Hollywood actress Kate Bosworth in the future. The busy mother, whose favourite type of bag seems to be the zip pouch, also revealed the things she normally puts in it. 'I put [my] credit card, lipstick, iPhone, iPhone charger, sunglasses. You can fit quite a lot in there,' she said. When asked if she would expand her fashion brand in Asia since she and her husband have been to Singapore a few times, she said, 'If the demand is here and if the Asian ladies here like what I do... hopefully I'll be back. 'David likes it here and I've only been here three times. I certainly hope to come back.'Hope to see you again soon, Victoria.
