Football: Japan

SINGAPORE: The international friendly between Japan and Brazil on Tuesday (Oct 14) will be played in front of a capacity crowd at the National Stadium, according to event organiser World Sport Group.


All tickets to the football match were sold out for the 55,000-seater National Stadium at the Singapore Sports Hub ahead of the match, WSG said in a press release on Monday.


It added that for those who did not manage to get a ticket, the game will be shown live on cable TV by StarHub on SuperSports Arena.


Additionally, WSG issued the following advisory for match-going fans:


· Please arrive early. Gates open at 5pm, and kick-off is at 6.45pm.


· Public transport is advised. The Stadium (CC6) and Kallang (EW10) train stations are located in and around Sports Hub.


· Please note that pre-sold parking has already sold out.


The Selecao stars arrived in Singapore on Sunday, and were greeted by more than 300 fans at Changi Airport. Barcelona forward Neymar posted a group shot of some of the team with the Singapore River as the backdrop on his Instagram account.
