Singapore's air quality hits 'unhealthy' range

POSTED: 11 Oct 2014 13:52 UPDATED: 11 Oct 2014 14:19 The three-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) entered into the 'unhealthy' range on Saturday as at 2pm, but the 24-hour PSI remained in the 'moderate' range.

SINGAPORE: The three-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) entered into the 'unhealthy' range on Saturday (Oct 11) with a reading of 106 at 2pm. The reading was at 71 at 1am, and rose steadily since then.


The 24-hour PSI remained in the 'moderate' range at 75 - 81.


On Friday, the National Environment Agency (NEA) haze update said there may be slight occasional haze on Saturday. Thundery showers are expected in the afternoon.
