There are few events in sports as breathtaking as a Formula 1 race under the lights in Singapore at the Marina Bay street circuit. Lewis Hamilton regained the championship lead with his seventh win of the year, taking advantage of his teammate Nico Rosberg's electrical failure early on. A long safety car period erased Hamilton's lead on lap 31, but his Mercedes was simply too quick for anyone else to contest once the race restarted.
